I've tried to maintain a great deal of integrity towards Open Source philosophy while still struggling with the current reality that we each need to "make a buck". So what have I discovered? "Open Source Donation Distribution"
Open Source Donation Distribution is an idea that I came with that currently is in its infant stages. The basic idea is this: Someone donates to a fund, this fund is then distributed based on the level of involvement different individuals and groups had invested into the project. I would eventually like to incorporate some form of voting system so everyone has a say in how this money is distributed and used. I have a greater vision for this project but at the moment it is represented by the pie chart below.
