(especially this man, with only about 6 months experience with Joomla, and no prior programming experience!) This is why I am asking for anyone who is interested to get on board and let's work together to make Holy Joomla the holiest of holy's. Currently I have the forum set up to engage conversation on how we can do this. If you have any ideas then post them there, if you have resources that you can bring to this project then post them too.
